When the earlier post ended, reasons such as the galactic alignment, the mayan calendar etc were given which are all proved factors. This time, the points mentioned might not be proved exactly but are the result of a series of interpretations and logical conclusions, accepting these at face value or in any form of consideration is purely at the choice of the reader!!!
Lets start off with the so called Niburu theory. Niburu is believed to be a planet (Planet X as some call it), which has a very peculiar orbital path around the sun. This orbit might look something like that of a comet. It would look something like this but at a slight inclination from the axis.
The planet if it exists must have an orbit or approximately 3600 years around the sun. Now the most simplest question at this point would be that if this is not proved then why is it being mentioned. The planet is predicted to exist in the similar way as Black holes are predicted to exist. A bit of scientific knowledge will tell you that you cannot ‘see’ a black hole but you can ‘know’ where it is based on the behaviours of other bodies near it. Similarly, many factors including the comet based bombardment cycle of the earth gives enough proof for the existence of such a body. Now I don’t think its even required to explain the reaction of our planet to the arrival of a massive body as the planet Niburu if it gets close enough to us. There is a high speculation that the planet is arriving and that it would reach destructive distance in the year 2012 end. Well, the internet is filled with all kinds of nonsense as well as validated facts. Distinguishing them is the toughest part.. Keeping this above argument simple, I would just have to say that the above is a speculation since no one has actually given a proof of the existence of this planet.
Another similar argument is the so called ‘prediction’ that our solar system is a binary star system. A binary solar system is the one in which there are two suns rather than one. The solar structure would look something like this… Most planets in the solar system would have two sunrises and two sunsets. I know this sounds pretty sci-fi to most readers but the point here being, it may be true. Unlike what most people know about start, they are not always the bright shiny ball of fire which is visible even at light-years distance. There are what you call as brown stars, which by definition would be the so called stars which did not make it to the shiny stage.. You could call them the wannabe stars who flunked the star test!!!
According to some theories our solar system could have a brown star in it. Once which has a very elongated orbit implying it would enter our orbit only once in thousands of years. This is similar to the Niburu concept wherein the planet is replaced by a star roughly a fourth the size of the sun. The consequence of this theory is more spectacular than the Niburu theory especially due to the fact that, such a brown star has a tendency to light up when it closes on the primary star which is hot and bright, thus effectively frying the nearby planets.
Another factor which points to the end of the world, even if this planet or sun doesn’t mean us harm is from the face of the earth itself or from within it to be exact. Most of us must have heard of the yellow sands park in the United States. It is a place famous for its hot springs and other geological wonders. But ever wondered what lies below it??? Scientist claim that the yellow sands is the biggest and the bad-est volcano on the planet. Something you could call a super-volcano. And explosion at the yellow sands could mean a global atmospheric blackout for over a year or so. We would have to kind of live without the sun for a year!! In-short a sort of a limited ice-age. Why did I mention this? Well, if there is enough of a gravitational shift, then the ever so slightly balanced Yellow sands may pop. This too is a possibility!!!
Well at this stage, most people reading this would be either willing to strike back at me for this post or be willing to believe that the world is gonna end in 2012. But please hold on, I am not yet quite done.
The Niburu and the brown star theory might just not work out. See, according to the end of world date, we are approximately 1.5 years close to the apocalypse. If a star, half the size of the sun, was on its way to meet us, we should pretty much be feeling the same! There would be increased oceanic activity, atmospheric disruptions etc which would pop up very powerfully. The gravitational pull of the star would also alter or cause disruptions in the spin, tilt of earth which in turn would translate to hurricanes and earthquakes. The hurricanes at this point might make Katrina look like a sea breeze and the earthquakes could go well over 10 in the richer scale! So the whole chance of these things happening is really really low.
So now the question completes the circle and reach back to “so its not the end of the world after all, right?”, Frankly I don’t know. The odds and probabilities are too many to even come to a contrasted conclusion. Certain proofs say that something will happen, then some other things which comes as part of the proof package, is literally useless. But then again that does not imply that the whole set is a fake. From my point of view, I am sure that something will happen!!! I cannot predict whether its going to be good or bad. But the odds show that there is a higher probability for it to be bad, mainly due to the telekinesis factor of the millions who believe so and also due to some proofs which predict an incident!!!
But hey, look on the bright side.. We still have over an year to enjoy life!!!! J

Depressing beginning, but a good climax with a ray of hope
Darn, I have to make changes on my world domination plans….
